About our food
Amante serves modern Mediterranean food for lunch and dinner. The stylish but sophisticated menu works perfectly with the beautiful view and the rustic cliff terrain. Contemporary Spanish and Italian dishes are complemented by simple fresh fish and meat cooked in the Josper oven. Our deserts are bring back customers year after year!
Whether you want a light lunch or a long afternoon of eating and drinking, the Amante menu will complete a perfect day at the beach. Food is served until 12:30am and we have a full children’s menu for the little ones. We have a comprehensive selection of wine, cava, champagne as well as our own Amante cocktails and fresh juices.
Starters
Amante’s speciality fish croquettes
Salmorejo (traditional Spanish cold tomato soup) served with char-grilled red onion and rosemary olive oil (VG).
Macrobiotic salad with wild rocket, edamame beans, quinoa and lentils. Served with a miso dressing (VG).
Amante chicken salad. Slow-cooked free-range chicken, organic lettuce, mint marinated fennel and a red onion confit with a citric Dijon mustard dressing. Can be served without chicken.
Raw beetroot carpaccio folds filled with cream cheese, raw spinach, pine nuts and dressed with lime and an agave reduction (V).
Galician clams char-grilled in our Josper oven.
Iberico ham (90g).
Diced cubed salmon served with a foam of mango, orange, sage and dill.

Rice
Rigatoni with a light basil and lemon thyme pesto, sautéed with Pecorino cheese and served with courgettes (V).
Spanish style rice (‘cremoso’) with char-grilled lobster (minimum 2 people).
Traditional Spanish squid ink risotto with scallops and a light ‘alioli’ crust.
Oven baked vegetarian risotto with peas, edamame, green beans and tenderstem broccoli (V).
Main Dishes
Roasted sweet potato and haloumi cheese served with a fresh organic spinach salad and pomegranate honey (V).
Aubergine roasted in the Josper and served with feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, almonds and truffle olive oil (V).
Formentera squid roasted in the Josper, served with mashed potatoes, sobrasada (traditional spiced meat from Ibiza) and salicornia seaweed.
Whole baked sea bass filleted at the table and served with roasted sliced potatoes, padron peppers and vine cherry tomatoes (price per kilo).
Fillet of Croaker served alongside Moroccan cous cous with carrots, courgettes, celery, beetroot and mint.
Chargrilled organic chicken, marinated in Mediterranean herbs and sesame served with sweet potatoes, creme fraiche and a green tomatoes salsa.
Galician veal chop served with steamed tenderstem broccoli, dried vine tomatoes and Amante’s chimichurri dressing.
Pluma 100% Ibérica (tender loin of pork) char-grilled and served with sautéed kale, pine nuts, raisins, baked aubergine and droplets of Greek yogurt.
Sirloin steak with cherry tomatoes, roasted shallots, chargrilled aubergine and edamame beans served with sweetcorn and parmesan velouté.
Carob sponge topped with apricot compote and almond ice-cream.
Lemon tart topped with light organic honey and thyme cream.
Refreshing summer Mojito sorbet.
